The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has warned of the increasing risk of disease spread in overcrowded displacement camps in the Gaza Strip. Deteriorating living conditions in these camps are exacerbating health risks. In a statement, OCHA reported that humanitarian partners have reported the spread of skin diseases among the population in hundreds of camps, along with a widespread presence of rodents and pests. Partners are working to combat pests and improve health conditions, but they face challenges due to limited supplies and difficulties with access.
