The restaurant represents a space for cooperation and solidarity among women who were forced to leave their homes due to the conflict. Despite daily challenges, the women in the an-Nuseirat camp continue to work hard to prepare food and serve the community, reflecting the strength of the Palestinian woman, her attachment to life and hope, and her ability to adapt and carry on living even in the most difficult circumstances. In a scene that embodies resilience and determination to work and give during the month of Ramadan despite the conditions of war and displacement, a group of displaced Palestinian women work in a restaurant run by Ms. Fatima Al-Ashkar inside the an-Nuseirat camp to prepare pizza for the fasting. The women are busy preparing pizza during the blessed month of Ramadan. Through this work, the women seek to provide a source of income to help them face the difficult living conditions imposed by the ongoing war in the Strip.
