Today, on Saturday, the Rafah crossing point was opened for Palestinians to receive medical assistance from Egypt.

This opening of the crossing point was agreed upon between the two sides, and now Palestinians will be able to cross the border to obtain necessary treatment. Furthermore, this step also contributes to alleviating the humanitarian situation in the Gaza sector.

"We thank everyone who participated in organizing this crossing point," said one of the Palestinian officials. "We hope that this will allow our citizens to access necessary treatment without hindrances and delays."

The Rafah crossing point was opened after a prolonged closure due to various circumstances, which created a problem for Palestinians in need of medical assistance.
