On Thursday, the Palestinian Authority announced that an Israeli tank killed two Palestinians to the west of the town of Rafah in the Gaza Strip. This occurred despite the ceasefire agreement to end hostilities in the devastated sector.
According to the statement of the authority, Israeli forces attacked a group of civilians, resulting in the deaths of two Palestinians. Fire and rescue services arrived at the scene of the incident and began a rescue operation.
"Israel continues to violate the fragile ceasefire, attacking our civilian population. We appeal to all international organizations and governments to prevent further bloodshed of innocent people," emphasized the representative of the authority.
The Palestinian side calls for international intervention to protect the lives and property of Palestinians from Israeli aggression.
