During the current conflict in Gaza, the Arrow unit, composed of members from various terrorist factions such as the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, carried out an operation in the southern Gaza Strip. As a result, five individuals were killed on the accusation of 'collaborating' with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Among the victims is a significant collaborator of Yasser Abu Shabab, a well-known Gazan leader identified by several terrorist organizations for control and diversion of humanitarian aid convoys. According to reports from Hamas, Abu Shabab is hiding in the city of Rafah, near Yasser Arafat airport.
The operation carried out by the Arrow unit was supported by the Ministry of the Interior of the enclave, currently under the control of Hamas. A video published by the Gaza Now channel shows Hamas agents shooting at three unarmed men on the ground, although the authenticity of the video has not been independently verified.
Hamas has been known to implement death sentences for those accused of collaborating with Israel, executing numerous Palestinians in an attempt to instill fear in the population of Gaza. The recording of the Arrow unit's operation is accompanied by a message emphasizing punishment for those agents of the Zionist occupation who have caused the deaths of Palestinians in Gaza.
