One of the staff members of the UNRWA for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) was killed as a result of an attack on a transport vehicle in the southern sector of Gaza, as announced by the agency.
According to the UNRWA statement, this tragic attack occurred in the Deir al-Balah area. The deceased was a member of the organization's sanitation team.
"We condemn this horrific incident and demand that the responsible parties be held accountable for this act of violence," says the agency's statement.
