UN Report Calls for Comprehensive Recovery Plan for Gaza

The expert of the OON called for the development of a comprehensive recovery and reconstruction plan for the Gaza sector, devastated as a result of the recent armed clashes between Israel and Palestine.

According to this organization, more than 50 thousand Palestinians remain homeless due to bombardments. Infrastructure objects, including schools and hospitals, were destroyed or damaged, which created a critical situation in the region.

In his statement, the expert noted that it is necessary to adopt immediate measures to provide humanitarian assistance to the population of Gaza and begin the process of restoring destroyed infrastructure objects.

"Currently, the main priority is to ensure that the residents of Gaza have access to drinking water, medical assistance, and housing," the expert emphasized.

He also called on the international community to actively engage and provide support for the restoration of peace and stability in the region following armed conflicts.
