The President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, issued a presidential decree on Monday to publish the first draft of the provisional constitution for the State of Palestine and make it available for public viewing through a dedicated online platform of the National Constitution Drafting Committee, as well as through other media outlets chosen by the committee. The decree aims to expand public participation in the drafting of the constitutional document. Citizens, civil society institutions, political factions, experts, and academics are invited to submit their comments and proposals on the draft within a 60-day period from the date of the decree's publication.
