Tahir al-Nunu, the leading figure of the "Hamas" movement, confirmed today in an interview with Reuters that only a few meetings took place between the leadership of the movement and the U.S. special representative on the issues of hostages Adam Boller.
"We held a series of meetings with Mr. Boller, the special representative of the United States on the issues of hostages," he said in the interview. "We talked about a number of important issues concerning the lives of our people."
Details of the negotiations were not disclosed. The sides discussed exchanges between the Hamas movement and Israel, as well as other issues related to the living conditions of the residents of the Gaza sector.
