Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas welcomed the Egyptian plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and called on US President Donald Trump. General Secretary of the UN Antonio Guterres also expressed his support for the Arab initiative for the mobilization of support for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. "We welcome the Egyptian plan for the reconstruction of Gaza, as this region needs our help and support," noted the Palestinian president. "We express our full support and approval of the Arab initiative, which is aimed at providing assistance for the reconstruction of Gaza," emphasized the UN Secretary-General.
