The President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas announced on Tuesday at an extraordinary summit in Cairo, dedicated to the situation in the Gaza sector, that he will introduce a new position - the Deputy President of the Palestinian Authority.
"The creation of this new position will help facilitate even more effective work of the system and its institutions," Abbas emphasized.
According to the president, the aim of his actions is to ensure stability and to assist in the realization of the national strategy for people's liberation.
