The International Criminal Court will continue its investigation into crimes committed on the territory of Palestine or by residents of Palestine, the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court announced on Thursday.
As part of this investigation, the Office will continue to thoroughly examine possible crimes, including their facts and circumstances, to ensure justice and the accountability of those responsible before the courts.
"We will thoroughly and professionally analyze the actions of all parties, paying particular attention to the victims and their rights to justice," noted the Office of the Prosecutor.
This decision confirms the intention of the International Criminal Court to continue investigating issues related to the conflict in the Middle East and crimes committed in this region, regardless of possible political pressures and obstacles.
