The International Commissioner for Human Rights, Folker Turk, condemned the proposals on 'annexation and forced evacuation' in the Palestinian territories, warning that they pose a threat to the entire region.
Turk emphasized that such actions contradict international law and could lead to serious consequences. In his statement, he highlighted that peace and stability in the region could be under threat due to such an approach to the conflict.
'Actions like these create serious risks for peace and stability in the region and could undermine international efforts to resolve the conflict,' Turk stated.
He also called on all parties to adhere to international law and seek peaceful solutions to end the conflict.
