The organization OON for helping refugees from Palestine (UNWRA specialist) stated that due to the financial crisis, she is threatened with the risk of losing her job. According to the representatives of the organization, the UNWRA specialist encountered a shortfall in budget financing, which creates problems in the implementation of humanitarian programs in the countries of the Middle East, including providing assistance to Palestinian refugees. They noted that breaches of financial sustainability of UNWRA put at risk the lives and health of millions of people. "The timelines for the provision of material assistance and financing of some important programs, such as medical services and education, are already under threat. If the situation does not improve, this may lead to serious consequences," the UNWRA specialist noted.
