The organization dealing with humanitarian assistance warns that the Organization of the United Nations concerning the issue of assistance and labor of Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) has forewarned about possible consequences in case of the adoption of punitive measures concerning its activities in the Gaza sector.
"The suspension of our operations in the Gaza sector may negatively affect the ceasefire regime between Israel and the Hamas movement," UNRWA stated.
Continuing their statement, the agency emphasized the importance of its work in the region, providing humanitarian assistance and maintaining stability. "We call on all parties to respect the neutrality of humanitarian organizations, such as ours," UNRWA added.
