The organization of the Red Cross announced on Saturday that the exchange of the second group of detainees has been completed within the framework of the initial stage of the Gaza agreement.
"We are pleased to announce the completion of the exchange of the second group from the first phase of the Gaza agreement. It is an important step towards providing immediate assistance to the families and their relatives, and we will work with everyone to ensure a complete and timely exchange for all individuals in need of that," said the representative of the Red Cross.
In August of last year, the Hamas movement transferred two Israeli citizens and two injured soldiers in exchange for the release of five Israeli civilians, recognized as Palestinian prisoners, and 16 Palestinians detained in secret Israeli prisons.
