Two Palestinian rights organizations announced on Friday that two prisoners, who had been held in an Israeli prison, died after their transfer to a hospital.
According to the organizations, prison staff did not provide the necessary medical assistance to the prisoners, which led to their deaths. According to these organizations, one of the deceased suffered from serious health problems, but did not receive the necessary attention in prison.
One of the rights organizations also added that those held in Israeli prisons face poor detention conditions and a lack of medical assistance, which leads to serious consequences for their health.
Local medical services and human rights organizations must investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the prisoners and implement measures to prevent similar cases in the future, the organizations emphasized.
