The international health organization lost contact with medical personnel working in the northern part of the Gaza sector. This was announced by the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
He noted that this occurred on Friday. Such a situation arose in connection with escalating violence in the region. According to Tedros, the organization is trying to restore contact with medical personnel to ensure the safety of their work in conditions of increased tension.
Currently, the organization continues to establish contact and provide necessary support to healthcare workers to ensure the provision of essential services to the population of Gaza.
