"The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs", affiliated with the Palestinian Liberation Organization, and "The Detainees' Call" announced on Sunday the death of a Palestinian detainee in an Israeli prison after being transferred to the hospital.
According to the statement issued by the Commission and the Call, the detainee passed away after his health deteriorated in the occupation prison due to the refusal to provide him the necessary medical care.
The statement indicated that the detainee had been suffering from serious health issues for a while, and he did not receive the necessary and required treatment he needed.
The Commission and the Call demanded an international investigation into the circumstances surrounding the detainee's death, calling for accountability for those responsible for the medical neglect that led to his death.
