According to the given Palestinian health authorities, at least 330 people were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza sector. This is a consequence of the escalating conflict between Israeli armed forces and Palestinian militants, which began several days ago.
The majority of the victims are civilians, including women and children. According to official data, among the deceased are 35 children and 13 women. Meanwhile, the number of injured continues to rise, which raises concerns about the possibility of providing necessary medical assistance under limited resources and pressure on the medical system of the sector.
"We are facing a catastrophic situation at a humanitarian level. Our medical system is on the brink of collapse due to the rising number of injured and lack of equipment and medicines," stated representatives of health services.
The escalation of violence has led to a serious humanitarian crisis in the Gaza sector, and many organizations and countries are calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities and the resumption of negotiations to achieve a peaceful resolution to this prolonged conflict.
