The bureau director reported on Thursday that "the humanitarian catastrophe continues" in the Gaza sector, regardless of the ceasefire.
He noted that in Gaza "a huge amount of destroyed infrastructure" and "the need for humanitarian aid remains enormous."
The bureau director also added that in many areas of Gaza, people remain without homes due to bombings, while access to water and electricity remains limited.
"The amount of destroyed infrastructure is huge. The cessation of hostilities — this is one thing, but the catastrophe remains," he added.
