Life in the Gaza sector has never been easy or even bearable. Even before the war in October, however, even today, those who survived from this area still long for those times. "The good old days are those when we were not under bombardment. Even when there is peace, we can breathe a little easier and consider it a natural life," said one of the residents.
With economic and social difficulties increasing, people in Gaza continue to fight for a better life for themselves and their families, amid the devastation and blockade that the region is suffering from.
