UNICEF Raises Alarm for Children in Gaza

The organization UNISEF stated on Tuesday that it feels an "enormous helplessness" for children in the Gaza sector. According to the report, more than 40 children have been killed as a result of the violence, and over 2,500 have been injured since the onset of the conflict in the zone at the end of March.

The organization also noted that in the wake of the violence, the risks for children living near the border are increasing, and because of this, many children are experiencing psychological trauma and need psychological support and assistance. Furthermore, the organization calls for the respect of human rights for all children, including Palestinian children, and condemns the violence and its consequences for children.

"Children should always be protected from violence and be promised to live in safety and hope," emphasized the statement by the organization's special representative in Palestine.
