The World Health Organization and the World Food Program reported that they managed to increase the supply of humanitarian aid to the Gaza sector since the fragile truce took effect on January 19, after more than 15 months of war.
Geneva - The UN warned on Friday that humanitarian needs in the Gaza sector remain "enormous", despite the increased aid supplies to the Palestinian region since the truce took effect between Israel and Hamas.
"The World Health Organization requires medical evacuation," said the representative of the UN in the Palestinian Territory, Rick Beberkorn from Gaza, noting that health needs in the overpopulated sector are enormous, among "widespread destruction."
