The international organization for the protection of children, UNICEF, announced that more than 350 trucks with humanitarian aid entered Gaza, including medical and educational materials as well as food for children.
A UNICEF representative in Palestine noted that every month more than a million people in Gaza need humanitarian assistance. This delivery was one of the largest provided by the organization in this region over the past several months.
"Our teams are working tirelessly to ensure that children and their families in Gaza receive the necessary resources for survival and normal development," added the UNICEF representative.
